 The Department of Public Information in collaboration with the NGO/DPI Executive Committee, Republic of Korea and the National Organizing Committee of Korea is will host a major conference to be held in the ancient capital city of Gyeongju, Republic of Korea from 30 May to 1 June 2016.The title of the conference is “Education for Global Citizenship: Achieving the Sustainable Development Goals Together.”Â
It will bring together over 2000 representatives from around the globe and will focus on three pillars of education, namely i) formal education, ii) informal education and training, and iii) advocacy and public information.
The ancient capital city is a UNESCO Cultural Heritage Site and often called The Museum Without Walls.
