Anne-Marie Carlson has devoted many years to the Executive Committee, in turn serving as Director, Vice-President and for the past two years, Chair. During her term, the Annual DPI/NGO Conference returned to New York, periodic meetings with interested NGOs were held to keep everyone informed of Executive Committee programs and actions and an exciting “first” occurred with a fundraising trip to Cuba sponsored by the Executive Committee.
A potential and unexpected crisis occurred, which was handled with a cool head and steady hand and we are all grateful for that.
We wish you well, Anne-Marie and look forward to your continued presence in Executive Committee affairs both as immediate past president and ex-officio advisor. So we say, good luck and so long but not good-by.
