A Video Conference Series
Since the inception of the UN in 1945, Fairleigh Dickinson University (FDU) has developed deep traditions that promote education about the UN and partnership with its institutions. Among the diverse UN-related initiatives included in its UN/NGO Pathways Program are the four interactive video conferences hosted by FDU each academic year and moderated by H.E. Ambassador Ahmad Kamal, Founder and President of the Ambassadors Club at the United Nations, featuring senior UN staff, Ambassadors and NGO leaders. Students from a wide spectrum of universities and colleges respond to the presentations of the guest speakers and share their ideas with one another.

GNEC acts as a liaison between the NGO community and the UN's Department of Global Communications (UNDGC). GNEC provides strategic guidance to help NGOs become more effective partners of the UN.
